RAK Marine Unveils Ship Repair Management Software for iPad
RAK Marine International, Inc. (“RAK” or the “Company”) (Frankfurt: 6RK) today announces that it has begun rolling out its state of the art, iPad compatible ship repair appraisal and service software. RAK believes this software will help provide a superior customer experience, as it is intuitive, robust and simple to use. Ship repair technicians and engineers use work sheets constantly and will now be able to make use of RAK’s software to easily track progress, orders and delivery status. The software will give them information at their fingertips, and allow them to find such information instantly, while on jobsites. The Company’s software has the feel of a virtual online shop and is based on an e-procurement platform, which expedites generating quotes, ordering parts and delivering greater consumer satisfaction. RAK plans to further develop this software into a separate division of the Company and sell or franchise the software to other companies.
