University of Calgary: Calgary business leader invests in mental health

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/08/12 -- Research to find innovative new treatments and prevention for mental illness will receive a major boost thanks to a multi-million dollar investment from a local entrepreneur and philanthropist. The University of Calgary's Hotchkiss Brain Institute is uniting with Ronald P. Mathison to create a centre dedicated to finding innovative treatments and providing early intervention for mental illness. The Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research & Education will offer support and new hope to families in Calgary, throughout Alberta, and around the world.
