Uranerz Announces Fourth Quarter and 2011 Financial Results
Casper, Wyoming, March 15, 2012 - Uranerz Energy Corporation ("Uranerz" or the "Company") (NYSE Amex and TSX: URZ; Frankfurt: U9E) has released its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2011 as filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") and in Canada with the Canadian securities administrators (on SEDAR).
Uranerz is building its first in-situ recovery ("ISR") uranium mine, called the Nichols Ranch ISR Uranium Project, in the Powder River Basin area of Wyoming, U.S.A. Construction of the central processing plant and installation of the environmental monitor and production wells for ISR mining are proceeding on schedule. Construction has continued throughout the winter, and completion is expected in the second half of 2012.
