Minemakers Limited: Confirmation of Appointment of New Director

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/12 -- On 9 February 2012 Minemakers Limited (ASX: MAK)(TSX: MAK)(NAMIBIAN: MMS) announced that Mr Richard (Dick) H Block would be appointed as a non-executive Director once the usual clearances from the Toronto Stock Exchange had been obtained.

Minemakers is pleased to confirm that such clearances have now been obtained and Mr Block has taken his position on the Board.

Given Mr Block's previous experience in phosphate, chemicals and fertilizer, Minemakers anticipates considerable benefits will flow from his involvement with the Company. Details of Mr Block's past experience and qualifications were outlined in the announcement dated 9 February 2012.
