Khalkos Exploration Inc.: Fieldwork Underway on Pontax-Lithium
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/12 -- KHALKOS EXPLORATION INC. ("Khalkos")(TSX VENTURE: KAS) announces that is currently conducting fieldwork on its Pontax-Lithium property located in James Bay, Quebec.
Trenches are currently being completed on the property, following the completion of a 40-km winter road to provide access to property for the machinery. These exploration trenches will test the lateral extensions of the swarm of pegmatite spodumene (silicate lithium mineral) bearing dykes, which already extend to more than 650 metres. The winter road was completed by Blackned Construction and Development Inc. from Waskaganish, along with participation of the Cree family whose trap line covers the property.
Diamond drilling and channel sampling were completed in 2009 on the property and yielded up to 1.43% Li2O over 13.0 m, 1.69 % Li2O over 9.0 m, and, 3.0 % Li2O over 4.0 m.

The Board of Directors of Khalkos has granted today 200,000 stock options under its Stock Option Incentive Plan to employees at an exercise price of $0.22 per share. The options expire five (5) years from the date of grant, and are vested quarterly over an 18-month period.
