SGS to Provide Free Webinar on Storage Tank Inspection in March and April(firmenpresse) - Since storage tank corrosion can cause environmental contamination and losses, it is of utmost importance to ensure the safety and reliability of tanks in order to avoid disasters.
Due to the growing interest in storage tank inspection services, SGS is delighted to invite you to a free 60-minute webinar, entitled “Understanding Aboveground Storage Tank Inspection,” presented by the SGS Tank Competence Center.
SGS will provide this free, globally available webinar on storage tank inspection on March 26 and April 3, 2012, in order to inform participants about the significance of this type of inspection, responsibilities of the involved parties, techniques used to inspect tanks and inspection code requirements. Moreover, SGS seeks to provide attendees with comprehensive information on typical defects noted during inspection, API 653, typical scope of work, and in-service inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT). With first-rate experience and expertise in the field of storage tank inspection, SGS will also provide significant facts about post-repair inspection, as well as inspection techniques and equipment used.
Hosted by Sherman Nunis, Business Leader Tank Competence Center at SGS, the free 60-minute webinar will be available across Europe in two sessions to meet the needs of attendees.
