Northcore Resources: Nomination to the Board

(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 03/21/12 -- Northcore Resources Inc. ('Company" or "NCR") (TSX VENTURE: NCR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Me Michel Lebeuf to its board of directors, effective as of March 20, 2012, subject to regulatory approval. The board of directors has granted 250,000 stock options to Mr. Lebeuf, exercisable for a period of five years at a price of $0.10 per share.

Mr. Lebeuf graduated from Universite de Montreal with a Bachelors of Science degree in Political Sciences in 1994 and with an LL.B degree in 1997. Mr. Lebeuf has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1999 and qualified for the French Bar since 2004. Mr. Lebeuf currently acts as corporate counsel to NCR and is a partner with De Grandpre, Chait LLP.

Mr. Lebeuf has developed a practice in securities, particularly in the area of natural resources, institutional financing, corporate finance, as well as public and private mergers and acquisitions. His clientele is primarily composed of public corporations, securities brokers, purchasers, sellers, bankers and financial advisors. Mr. Lebeuf counts numerous public junior mining companies as clients. Currently Mr. Lebeuf is a director for Komet Manufacturers Inc. (TSX VENTURE: AQD).
