HeroEngine announces equity-based crowd funding solution for Game
developers
HeroEngine - the first game development platform with financing solution
for its developers.
LONDON - March 9, 2012 - Idea Fabrik Plc. (Boerse Berlin symbol
GB00B61CVK31, TI4.BE), creators of the HeroEngine, an integrated platform
for online game development and operation, announced the launch of its
crowd funding platform HEROFUNDING.eu.
HEROFUNDING.eu provides a new way for both small and large investors to
directly invest in promising game projects being developed on the
HeroEngine platform.
Specifcially, HEROFUNDING.eu provides a potential connection between
European investors interested in participating in the rapidly growing
on-line games market, and European game developers using HeroEngine;
enabling 'the crowd' to invest in game projects in exchange for an equity
or ownership stake in the project,
Investments can be as little as EUR 20 for each investment unit, to as much
as EUR 2,500,000. Current regulatory limitations are that both the
investor and the game developer must be EU domiciled or an EU chartered
entity. HEROFUNDING.eu uses a plug and play, white label crowd funding
solution for video games developed by Gambitious.
Alex Shalash, Chairman of Idea Fabrik Plc. said: 'Our mission has always

The announced portal will be launched in the beginning of April and Hero
developers can begin immediately to enroll their projects on the landing
page of HEROFUNDING.eu.
