PSI Awarded Contract by OAO Gazprom for Gas Transportation in East Asia
Control system software for compressor stations for the
Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok pipeline
PSI has been contracted by the Gazprom subsidiary OAO 'Gazprom
avtomatizatsiya' for the delivery of the software for the control system of
the 'Sakhalin' compressor station as well as three additional route control
systems for the east Asian Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline.
The new pipeline is part of the planned integrated gas production and
transportation system in eastern Siberia and the Far East. With this
strategically important contract, Gazprom has reinforced its decision to
work with PSI control systems in new investments in its gas transportation
business.
The order consists of the first delivery phase for the
Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok pipeline with a control system for the
compressor station 'Sakhalin' and the three route control systems
'Amurskoye', 'Primorskoye' and 'Khabarovskoye'. The contracting of the
software for the Regional Dispatching Center (RDC) of the line in
Khabarovsk is planned for a subsequent delivery phase.
With the use of PSIcontrol V7, Gazprom aims to establish highly-efficient,
hierarchically structured control systems for the controlling of the gas
transportation in strategically important gas transportation lines. Here,
PSIcontrol V7 is intended for the realisation of the main line dispatching
centers as well as for the local control systems below them. In the
framework of realising this, PSI has already been awarded contracts for the
Bovanenko-Uchta-Torshok gas transportation line and the northern European
gas transportation line (Nord Stream onshore).
Gazprom avtomatizatsiya is the general contractor and responsible system
integrator for the realization of the projects mentioned on the basis of
the PSI software. In addition, PSI supports Gazprom avtomatizatsiya in the
design of system solutions and trains the engineers at Gazprom
avtomatizatsiya in the product-specific know-how of the PSI software
employed. PSI has worked together with Gazprom avtomatizatsiya in the field
of gas and oil for years, culminating in the conclusion of a partnership
agreement in 2009.
