Media Advisory: Military Police Complaints Commission Hearing into Fynes Complaint Begins March 27, 2012

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/22/12 -- A Public Interest Hearing into a complaint related to the military police investigations conducted following the death of Corporal Stuart Langridge will begin in Ottawa on Tuesday March 27.
Cpl Langridge committed suicide at Canadian Forces Base Edmonton on March 15, 2008. He had served in Bosnia and Afghanistan. His parents, Shaun and Sheila Fynes, filed a formal complaint with the Military Police Complaints Commission about investigations conducted by the Canadian Forces National Investigations Service (CFNIS).
The Hearing will begin on March 27 and then adjourn until April 3. It is open to the media and the public.
