Harrisburg Chiropractic Care Center Releases a Completely Redesigned Website

The new website contains a library of articles covering a wide variety of topics, including , and different types of chiropractic treatment such as decompression and various forms of physiotherapy offered at the practice. In addition, the site redesign project added functionality that enables patients to make appointments online, participate in blog discussions with the , view exercise videos and use an interactive 3D Spine Simulator.
Dr. Skocik says he is eager for people to come see the new website for a number of reasons: "First of all, I think the new website gives patients and the public in general a great way to research health topics of interest to them. A link to the 3D Spine Simulator appears on the right side of every page on the site and takes visitors to an interactive area where people can click on individual vertebrae within the spine. When someone clicks on a vertebra within the spine on the center of the screen, the parts of the body affected, or the nerves affected by the alignment of those individual vertebrae will appear to the right and left of the spine respectively. The says that this new website feature will give patients a "hands-on" experience with how their spinal alignment affects their overall health.
In addition to the public content available on the website, there is also a members' area that Dr. Skocik invites people to sign up for. Sign up is free, and enables members to request the office newsletter. Members also gain access to an online video exercise collection, wellness program content, and content designed for children.
Visitors to the newly designed chiropractic website will notice other new interactive features as well; patients can request appointments online, find a map to the office, and download new patient forms. Dr. Skocik explains that all of these features were designed to save his patients time and increase interaction.
He is also eager for people to start participating in their new blog: "The blog gives us another opportunity to interact with people and discuss together.
