Southern Products, Inc. Launches First Sales to Target.com
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/26/12 -- Southern Products (OTCBB: SNPD), a new manufacturer of "Assembled in the USA" flat-panel televisions, announced today that it has commenced shipping its full line of LED and LCD flat panel televisions to Target.com. Target Corporation is an American retailing company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is the second-largest discount retailer in the United States, behind Wal-Mart. As of 2010, Target was rated number 33 on the Fortune 500 list and is a component of the Standard & Poor's 500 index.
"This online launch with Target.com is the first step in our long term plan to offer our advanced and cost effective flat panel televisions on the floor of the Target stores as we are already doing with Frys Electronics," said Edward Meadows, Southern Products, Chief Executive Officer. "It's our goal to have a presence in every major retail outlet before the end of 2013."
The models being offered through Target.com are the Sigmac Brand 15, 32, 39, 42 and 55 inch models (model numbers: SE15AB, SC32AB1, SC32AB, SC39AB, SE42BB1, SE42AB, SE55ABD1). The Company also expects to add its newest 84 inch flat panel television to this list when this new TV debuts.
Southern Products, dba Sigmac USA, is a manufacturer of quality, mid-priced flat-panel televisions and peripherals for distribution through big-box retailers in the US. The Company currently has a product line of 21 flat-panel models in production, and has entered into large-scale distribution agreements with Fry's Electronics, Target, K-Mart, Costco.com, Tiger Direct and Walmart.com for the sale of Sigmac-branded flat-panel televisions and peripherals in North America.
