Two More Individuals "Wanted by the CBSA" Removed from Canada

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/26/12 -- The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the removals of Abraham Bahaty Bayavuge and Johnny Cipriano Salazar Gonzales. Both are listed on the "Wanted by the CBSA" list.

Johnny Cipriano Salazar Gonzales was apprehended by the CBSA on March 13 in Cardston, Alberta. Salazar Gonzales is inadmissible to Canada because he has been convicted of trafficking in drugs in the United States. He was removed from Canada on March 21.

Abraham Bahaty Bayavuge was apprehended in the Ottawa area on July 27, 2011 as a result of a tip from the public. Bahaty Bayavuge is inadmissible to Canada because he is suspected of being complicit in war crimes or crimes against humanity. He was removed from Canada on March 21.

To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 22 individuals in Canada and four individuals were located abroad. Additionally, the CBSA has removed 16 of these individuals from Canada.

Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
