Growth Attributed to Increased Need for Communications Training, Consulting, and Messaging Assistance Both in the U.S. and Internationally

(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/27/12 -- who trains professionals to be effective communicators, today announced the company's revenue grew 45 percent in 2011. This is the second year in a row that Decker has seen revenues increase at this rate. The sizeable growth is driven by the demand for the , communications consulting, , and communications training with the international legs of U.S. companies. The , which focuses on behavior (how someone comes across) and the content (what they say) continues to make-up almost 50 percent of Decker's revenue.

"When I started my transition to CEO of , I chose Decker for my own personal development because I heard that they were the best in class when it came to communications coaching, training, and message development," said Ernie Sadau, CEO of Christus Health. "My first one-on-one coaching session made me visibly see how much improvement I needed to make if I was going to be a significant leader in this organization. Right away, I started receiving positive comments on how I was presenting myself, so when I officially became CEO, I told the executive team that they were all going through this training, too. One of our biggest initiatives is building a stronger internal culture, and our training from Decker has given us a framework for communicating our key messages."

Decker continues to grow its business in the U.S. and has seen an increased demand for communications training for companies that have both a national and international presence. Cultural differences and language barriers can lead to communication challenges. Therefore, as companies continue to grow their businesses, effective communications training is essential.

"Having two years in a row of growth over 40 percent is a testament to the continuous need for communications coaching and training. This demand crosses all sectors such as finance, technology, and healthcare and at all levels of the organization, including sales, executive management, marketing, and engineering," said Ben Decker, president of Decker Communications. "Companies recognize the importance of communications executive coaching for management and group training for employees. In addition, they want to ensure the company is providing consistent messages both internally and externally to their clients and customers. Our customized programs provide all levels of training, giving professionals the tools and skills they need to be effective in business."

To meet the growing demands of businesses, Decker has expanded their sales team, hired additional Program Leaders and Coaches, and appointed John Tarman as the Director of Operations. John comes to Decker with more than 20 years of experience in finance, human resources, communications, and training. Prior to Decker, John was Executive Director of the Volunteer Center of the East Bay.
