Farstad Shipping ASA - Approved annual accounts 2011

Farstad Shipping's audited annual accounts for 2011 have been approved by the
board of directors on 28 March 2012. Preliminary results were published on 16
February 2012. Compared to the preliminary results there has been a
reclassification of taxes, from tax to freight income reduction. The
reclassification of NOK 39,5 mill. is related to withholding taxes on freight
income earned in particular countries. Hence, freight income, operating profit
and taxes are reduced by NOK 39,5 mill. The profit after taxes is unchanged.
Please find attached amended accounts for 2011.
The annual report 2011 including the approved accounts will be available on
www.farstad.com Friday 30 March and distributed to the shareholders with the
notice for the Annual General Meeting.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on 15 May 2012.The board of directors
has decided to propose to the Annual General Meeting to pay a dividend of NOK
5.00 per share for the financial year 2011. Provided that the Annual General
Meeting approves the proposal, the share will be traded ex-dividend as from 16
May 2012.
