Lloyd Fonds AG: Preliminary consolidated results for 2011
Hamburg, March 31, 2012. With market conditions still challenging, Lloyd
Fonds collected total equity of EUR 38.5 million in 2011 (previous year EUR
83.0 million). According to preliminary calculations, sales including
recurring income of EUR 10.4 million came to a total of EUR 14.3 million at
the end of the year (previous year EUR 19.3 million). The consolidated net
result amounted to a net loss of EUR 2.9 million (previous year net profit
of EUR 2.7 million) and was substantially influenced by the concluding
restructuring activities. With the successful issue of fresh equity at the
end of the year, Lloyd Fonds was able to lay a sound foundation for the
future of the company and to improve its balance sheet in the year under
review. This was aided by an increase of the share capital from EUR 12.7
million to EUR 27.5 million, causing Lloyd Fonds' equity ratio to widen by
20.5 percentage points to 36.0% (previous year 15.5%). Moreover, the
payment of the liability release compensation meant that it was possible to
reverse the provisions which had been set aside for this purpose in earlier
years, thus improving the company's debt situation substantially. As a
result of the compensation payment, Lloyd Fonds has been released in full
from all the contingent liabilities coming within the scope of the bank
agreement.
