EVRY signs major contract with SINTEF

(Oslo, 2 April 2012) SINTEF has signed new agreements that renew and extend its
collaboration with EVRY. The agreements include the integration of project and
administration systems, SINTEF's extensive data storage requirements and general
updating of solutions, and the parties have also signed a separate agreement for
payroll and accounting services.
The agreements in respect of operating services and the development of IT
platforms for SINTEF run for 5 years and represent total contract value of
around NOK 200 million.
A significant part of the new delivery relates to data storage and
uninterruptible operations, which are very important areas for SINTEF's
extensive research activities. EVRY's data centre in Trondheim will serve SINTEF
and other customers that have particularly demanding requirements for the scale
and reliability of data storage.
Through these agreements, SINTEF now has a single supplier with responsibility
for operating its entire IT portfolio. This gives SINTEF a single point of
contact for the management and follow-up of all IT deliveries.

EDB ErgoGroup took on responsibility in 2011 for the operation of SINTEF's new
solution for project and competence management (SIPOK). This newly-developed
solution provides complete integration between accounting systems, project
support systems, document management and archiving.
