UMS AG publishes complete 2011 Annual Report

Hamburg, 3 April 2012 - UMS United Medical Systems International AG (UMS/
ISIN DE0005493654) today published its complete annual report for 2011 in
German and English. It can be downloaded at www.umsag.com. The annual
report contains detailed information about the business performance of the
various segments in the UMS Group and a forecast for the current 2012
fiscal year.
As announced on 27 March 2012, the Company generated earnings per share of
EUR0.47 in 2011 (2010: EUR0.61). The revenues of the UMS Group amounted to
EUR38.3 million, following EUR38.9 million in the previous year. However,
if the exchange rate effects are ignored, revenues grew by EUR1.5 million
or 4%.
UMS expects revenue growth to continue in the current fiscal year 2012,
with consolidated revenues between EUR41 million and EUR43 million. UMS
expects earnings per share to increase significantly in 2012, to between
EUR0.60 and EUR0.70.
Given the UMS Group's strong balance sheet and positive earnings trend, the
Management Board and the Supervisory Board plan to propose to the
shareholders' meeting on 31 May 2012 to slightly increase the payout rate
and to distribute a dividend of EUR 0.50 per share.
