Serial Entrepreneur Cheng Wu Joins Vello Board
(firmenpresse) - MENLO PARK, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/03/12 -- Veteran networking entrepreneur Cheng Wu has joined the board of directors of Vello Systems. Mr. Wu will bring his unique vision and extensive experience of creating successful innovative companies to the Vello team.
Cheng Wu has a twenty-year record of founding successful companies. Networking startups he founded and led reached a combined value of more than $6 billion at the time of acquisition or public offering. They included ArrowPoint Communications, a pioneer in traffic load balancing that led to today's application delivery controllers (ADC), which was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2000. Today Mr. Wu is chairman and co-founder of Azuki Systems, a startup developing solutions that simplify and standardize the delivery of video across any type of network and to any type of screen on any device, land-based or mobile.
Mr. Wu has joined the Vello board to support Vello's goal of leading the introduction of networking solutions based on a new paradigm, software-defined networking.
