Teck Announces Closing of SilverBirch Transaction

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/04/12 -- Teck Resources Limited (TSX: TCK.A and TCK.B, NYSE: TCK) ("Teck") announced today the closing of the previously announced arrangement under which a wholly owned subsidiary of Teck has acquired all of the outstanding shares of SilverBirch Energy Corporation.
