'Team Frostig' to Walk During the 10th Anniversary LA Autism Walk -- April 21
(firmenpresse) - PASADENA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/09/12 -- As the only school-wide team to participate in the 10th Anniversary Los Angeles Walk Now for Autism Speaks, 'Team Frostig,' under Team Captain and autism author Monica Holloway, consists of over 100 members, including educational leaders, board members, and families of The Frostig Center, a non-profit organization and center for learning disabilities, uniting to walk in support of autism on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Pasadena Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Parents and students of The Frostig Center and School

The Frostig Center includes an internationally recognized research department, on-site academic instruction for students ranging from grades 1-12, and ongoing training for over 1,000 professionals each year. Frostig School, a part of The Frostig Center, aims to enhance the opportunities of children with learning disabilities and related learning problems, including high functioning autism, non-verbal learning disabilities, ADHD, and Aspergers.
