Takedown MMA: More Fights, More Fans, More Revenue

Takedown filmed its television pilot on October 22, 2011 at Matt Lindland's "SportFight 30: Limitless" in Portland, Oregon, with Chael Sonnen, Ron Yacovetti and Bill Mahood as commentators. Takedown established its live event production standards, and used the pilot as a key selling tool with international broadcasters and distributors.
Takedown's business model -- consolidating distribution rights to past and future MMA fights from fight promotions around the world -- is unique to the MMA industry. Discussions with broadcast, digital media and home entertainment platforms have been very positive and Takedown anticipates closing several distribution relationships immediately.
Takedown's due diligence and negotiations with over 100 MMA fight promotions in 20 countries and 10 languages has been very successful; numerous final agreements for media rights to archived fights and future live events will be signed and announced in the coming weeks.
Takedown will soon announce its 2012 Program Schedule. As archive rights represent a significant tangible asset to Takedown, and a low cost method to achieve revenue faster, the first shows will be developed from thousands of hours of MMA fight archives, followed by the "Live Fight Series" calendar featuring "The Best MMA Fights from Around the World!"
