mAutomate enables customers to test their mobile applications on devices and networks that are either local or geographically dispersed. The tool integrates with the client application in a manner that it is able to instrument the entire application and make it testable.
The tool offers distinct features such as record once, execute on multiple devices and provides a web-based infrastructure for test suite management. mAutomate's push-based mechanism executes test cases on remote devices connected through the cloud, in multiple geographies from a single location. The tool also furnishes comprehensive test execution reports with details such as performance numbers, battery statistics and screen shots.
The launch is planned for next week at the StarEast 2012, a premium testing conference where Impetus is one of the sponsors and presenter.
