Now in their 16th year, the Webby Awards is the Internet's most respected symbol of success. This year, nearly 10,000 entries were received from all 50 U.S. states and more than 60 countries worldwide. Within the mobile group alone there were more than 8,000 entries submitted and fewer than 15 percent were distinguished as an Official Honoree. Winners were selected based on public taking place now through April 26. Winners will be announced May 1 and honored at a ceremony in New York City on May 21.
The inspiration behind the development of the tablet application was Hyundai's goal to attract new customers and differentiate the Equus from other vehicles it sells. This high-end luxury car was Hyundai's first in the category, competing with Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Jaguar. Aspect worked with Hyundai and Innocean (Hyundai's marketing division) to create a first-of-its-kind to be given to each new Equus owner, along with a tablet as its owner's manual. This application engages the user with utilities like a searchable, easy-to-use owner's manual and reference guide, a service appointment scheduler, interactive technology demonstrations, dealer locator and .
