Join VSHRA at the Phoenix Country Club for the April All Area Luncheon to hear Lisa Horn, SHRM's primary spokesperson on workplace flexibility as she shares her keen insights on the benefits of Workplace Flexibility and learn about HR Public Policy Initiatives under the current administration. Law and Legislative Action Committee Spring Workshop:
The VSHRA Law & Legislative Action Committee ("LLAC") is sponsoring its annual spring workshop. The purpose of this workshop is to raise awareness among employers and the Human Resource (HR) community about legal and regulatory issues and risks. The workshop location is at the Phoenix Corporate Tower, 3003 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
Daryl Davis-Ferra, Community Outreach and Resource Planning Specialist, Phoenix District Office, Department of Labor, will speak on Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) (exempt/nonexempt classifications and overtime issues).
Mary Jo O'Neill, Regional Attorney, Phoenix District Office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), will speak on the EEOC investigation process, guidelines, and employer tips.
