$1.5 Million in Guarantees, Affordable Buy-Ins Featured in Commerce Casino's Cal State Poker Championship, May 2-20
(firmenpresse) - COMMERCE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/19/12 -- After a hugely successful launch to its 2012 season, championship tournament action returns to Commerce Casino May 2-20 with the much-anticipated California State Poker Championship.
The series will feature over $1.5 million in guarantees and affordable buy-ins throughout.
And it will get started with a No Limit Hold 'em opening event with a $400,000 guarantee -- with $100,000 for first place. The No Limit Hold 'em tournament, with a $225 Buy-in, begins on May 2 and will allow those who bust out to re-enter on subsequent days -- May 3 and May 4 -- of the event.
The No Limit Hold 'em event will set the stage for more than two weeks of intense competition and lucrative action at Commerce Casino, the largest poker casino in the world which prides itself on offering an impressive assortment of games and tournament organization that is second to none.

The California State Poker Championship will conclude with the No Limit Hold 'em Championship -- with $500,000 Guaranteed -- on two starting days, May 17-18. The $2,080 buy-in allows re-entry on Day 1B (May 18).
The LA Poker Classic set the tone for a big year of tournament poker at Commerce Casino with its innovative instincts, strong guarantees and outstanding tournament action when amateur Sean Jazayeri captured the title and $1,370,240 against a strong final table featuring talented young professionals.
The California State Poker Championship promises the same kind of riveting action with its impressive lineup of events.
The featured tournament action includes a $300,000 No Limit Hold 'em Double Stack Turbo ($150 Buy-in), the always popular $100,000 Knockout Bounty ($340 Buy-in) and an All-in or Fold with $25,000 guarantee, with $10,000 for first place.
