PoE Ethernet Switch with up to 15.4 Watts per Port for Outdoor Applications

EDS-P510 is equipped with four IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE ports and provides connected devices with up to 15.4 watts of PoE power per port. The ability to transmit data and power simultaneously saves wiring costs, and is especially suitable for outdoor applications.

(firmenpresse) - EDS-P510 provides many advanced management functions. A prime example is the powered device failure recovery” function for detection of the status of connected powered devices. When a powered device fails or shuts down, EDS-P510 can reset and re-activate the device to ensure that proper function. Its timetabling function facilitates configuration of a powered device to work at specific times, and it saves energy since the device is not running continuously.

In addition, when connected devices could cause power overload problems, the power limit setting function can be used to pre-set the power limit. When active, and a new device is connected to the switch, devices will be disconnected automatically based on user-defined priorities or on next port basis.

EDS-P510 comes with three combo Gigabit Ethernet ports that can be used to form a redundant Gigabit ring and uplink. In addition, the SFP ports ensure high-bandwidth transmission for both data and video, making EDS-P510 the best choice for outdoor applications that involve connecting devices such as IP cameras, Access Points, and intercoms. Such applications can benefit from EDS-P510’s scalable backbone construction and Power-over-Ethernet support.
