Minsud Appoints New Director
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 04/20/12 -- Minsud Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: MSR) ("Minsud" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, Mr. Eduardo Mendl has been appointed as an independent member of the board of directors of the Company. The board of directors of Minsud is now comprised of Carlos A. Massa, Alberto F. Orcoyen, Diego E. Perazzo, Scott F. White, Howard Coates and Eduardo Mendl.
Mr. Mendl holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Walden University - Minnesota. He has worked as a professional in the area of infrastructure, energy, mining, and public services for over thirty years. Mr. Mendl is a board member and the Chief Executive Officer of Perales Aguiar SA, a road construction company in Argentina and is the President of Desarrollos Mineros Argentinos SA, a subsidiary of Panedile SA. Mr. Mendl's professional experience includes previously acting as Vice-Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Aguas Bonaerenses SA, a water utility company in Buenos Aires. Mr. Mendl was the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Edelap SA, Eden SA and Edes SA, being the Argentine subsidiaries of the AES Corporation, an electric power distribution company. Mr. Mendl has also served as an advisor to the State Energy Secretary of Argentina in coordinating the national rate review and implementation of a national hydro-thermal power generation dispatch optimization system.
