Madison Group acquires Shang De
Berlin/Frankfurt, April 24, 2012 - Madison Property AG recently acquired
70 % of the shares of Zibo Shang De Properties Company Limited ('Shang
De').
As the majority shareholder of Shang De, Madison also adds a large piece of
building land in a top location of Zibo City in the Chinese province
Shandong to its development portfolio. The property of approximately 7,500
sqm is located in the immediate neighbourhood of the government sector and
a large shopping mall with good ancillary facilities. Madison plans to
develop office buildings and shops with a total area of approximately
20,000 sqm.
With the acquisition of Shang De, Madison takes the opportunity to
strengthen its position within the field of commercial real estate
development.
'We are pleased about the acquisition of Shang De and the associated
business opportunities this includes for our company. We expect a
