Statoil Fuel & Retail ASA Annual General Meeting approves dividend of NOK 1.80 per share

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Statoil Fuel & Retail ASA ("Statoil Fuel &
Retail", ticker: SFR) was held on Thursday, 26 April 2012 in Oslo, Norway.
The annual accounts and the annual report for 2011 for Statoil Fuel & Retail ASA
and the Statoil Fuel & Retail group were approved, and a dividend of NOK 1.80
per share will be distributed. The expected payment date for the dividend is 9
May 2012. The Statoil Fuel & Retail share will be traded ex dividend as of 27
April 2012.
The AGM gave its consent to the Board of Directors' guidelines for setting
executive salaries and approved the remuneration linked to a share-based salary,
as proposed by the Board of Directors. It also approved the remuneration to the
company's auditor and to members of the Board of Directors.
The AGM authorised the Board to acquire Statoil Fuel & Retail's own shares in
the market in order to continue the work with a share savings plan for the
company's employees and management. The AGM also authorised the Board to acquire
Statoil Fuel & Retail shares in the market for subsequent annulment.
The following members of the Board of Directors were re-elected in line with the
recommendation of the nomination committee: Birger Magnus (chair), Marthe Hoff,
Per Bjørgås, Ann-Charlotte Lundén and Jon Arnt Jacobsen.
The board withdrew its proposition for election of new external auditor.
