Alston Energy Inc.: Correction re Pro Forma Information

(TSX VENTURE: ALO) ("Alston") wishes to clarify an inadvertent error in the measurement unit used in describing the pro forma reserves following the assumed successful completion of the asset purchase and business combination transactions referred to its news release of April 24, 2012. The reserve information should read:
- 1P reserves (1362.5 Mboe's in the aggregate) of approximately $23 million (NPV10)
- 2P reserves (1894.7 Mboe's in the aggregate) of approximately $33.8 million (NPV10)
