Toro Resources Terminates Private Placement and Pursues Joint Venture Opportunities

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/27/12 -- Toro Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: TRK) ("Toro" or the "Company") today announced that due to current market conditions, it has suspended its previously announced non-brokered private placement offering for gross proceeds of up to $2,000,000.

Bill Galine, President stated: "While we will not be proceeding with the private placement at this time given the prevailing market climate, we are evaluating strategic alternatives for our Morgan Peak Copper Project. This includes several possible joint venture opportunities, in an effort to maximize shareholder value."
