Kronach. - The new Loewe Connect ID, with its combination of sensible
innovations and individual design (ID), is virtually unrivalled among smart
TVs. The Connect ID can actually be designed to reflect the ideas and the
personality of its owner. The new Connect ID family from Loewe is available
in two technical versions (with or without the integrated DR+ hard disk
recorder) and with three different screen sizes (32, 40 and 46-inch),
twelve different colour combinations and 30 unique set-up options. That
makes a total 2,160 Connect ID televisions, each with a different
character. The choice of Black, White, Silver, Beige, Green or Orange
housing colours and of High Gloss White or High Gloss Black frames allows
the Connect ID to blend perfectly into either a classically elegant or an
assertively progressive living environment and match the owner's personal
lifestyle. However, not only is the design convincing - the equipment
inside the Connect ID flat TVs also leaves nothing to be desired. For
example, all three screen sizes offer a convincing 3D experience. Other
outstanding features of the new Loewe Connect ID are its excellent audio
quality and an unlimited multimedia offering, with unique apps.
Convincing - down to the last detail
The Connect ID is available in three different screen sizes: the mid-format
32-inch, the 40-inch and the big 46-inch screen for home cinema. Naturally,
Loewe uses an LCD panel with 200-Hz technology for optimum image quality in
all formats. In addition, with Loewe Active 3D glasses, three-dimensional
content can be seen at its best. All formats feature HDTV tuners for
DVB-T/C and DVB-S2. A DVB-T2 tuner can also be integrated as an option. A
wide array of connectors, including two CI+ slots, three HDMI ports, of
which one is with ARC, and two USB ports, gives the Connect ID optimum
connectivity. The Connect ID can be equipped with the integrated Loewe DR+
hard disk recorder on request. This provides a total of 500 GB of storage
capacity, allowing owners to record their favourite programmes - as long as
this is permitted by the content provider - at any time.
Perfectly networked
LAN and WLAN are included as standard. In addition, the Connect ID can be
easily integrated into the home network via Powerline. The classic Loewe
smart TV functions, such as Loewe MediaHome, HbbTV via Loewe MediaText and
access to Internet content via Loewe MediaNet, are therefore available at
all times. And, of course, the Connect ID also uses the award-winning Loewe
DR+ Streaming technology (winner of the 2011-2012 EISA Award) This makes it
possible simply to stream recordings from the hard disk to other current
Loewe televisions, or to switch a programme begun on the Connect ID
television to another Loewe TV on the home network for further viewing
using the convenient FollowMe function. Last but not least, the Connect ID
can be controlled not only via the Loewe Assist remote control delivered
with it, but also through an iPad, using what is probably the most
comprehensive TV control app there is, the Loewe Assist Media App. At the
same time, once the Loewe Assist Media App is on the iPad it provides an
electronic programme guide (EPG) in a class of its own. This means it
couldn't be simpler to change channels and program recordings on the home
network.
Sound in a class of its own
One of the particular strengths of Loewe televisions is their outstanding
sound. The Loewe Connect ID is no exception. The two broadband speakers
guarantee optimum voice reproduction and a well-balanced, powerful sound.
The sound is even more impressive with the 40 and 46-inch models. Here, two
down-firing woofers add a rich home-cinema sound. High-efficiency D-class
amplifiers and fully digital audio signal processing all the way from the
aerial input to the amplifier ensure the utmost in high fidelity. In all,
the Connect ID performs brilliantly with up to 80 watts of musical power.
At the same time, multi-band automatic volume control (AVC) guarantees
evenly balanced volume across a variety of sources and broadcasters. With
an integrated AC3 decoder, the Loewe Connect ID is also enabled for Dolby
Digital / dts 5.1 multi-channel audio, making it the perfect partner for a
Loewe Sound System. In this case, the Loewe Home Cinema sets are
particularly well suited. The fabric of the speaker covers underlines the
special audio qualities of the Connect ID in terms of both design and
acoustics.
Always well placed
With its wide variety of set-up options, the Connect ID can be integrated
perfectly into individual living environments, be they traditional, with
the variable Table Stand Comfort, modern, with the fixed Table Stand
Dynamic, or spacious, with the Table Stand Tableau. Further alternative
options are the Floor Stand Connect ID, with or without equipment board,
and the Floor Stand Universal. The Connect ID can of course also be placed
on one of the many Loewe racks or hung on the wall like a painting using
the Wall Mount. Practical touch: the rear panel comes already prepared for
the necessary Vesa brackets and also features an integrated Kensington
lock. Those who love spectacular staging can mount their Connect ID either
on the new Wall Stand Flex that leans against the wall, or as a
free-standing feature, with the Loewe Screen Lift Plus floor-to-ceiling
fixture. The hidden cabling allows the minimalist design of the Connect ID
to be admired from any perspective.
Energy efficient
It goes without saying that the new Loewe Connect ID is also particularly
energy-efficient. Material and energy have been saved by integrating
numerous functions (e.g. set-top box, external hard disk). The Loewe
Connect ID is also nearly five kilogrammes lighter than its predecessor the
Loewe Connect. Every kilo that does not have to be produced and transported
contributes to improving the environmental impact. Typically for Loewe, the
Connect ID can be completely disconnected from the mains at a touch of the
integrated power switch. This ensures that the TV only uses electricity
when it is actually required.
