Greenworld Wind Power Looks to Crestford View in Developing New Small
Hydropower Project
Toronto, Canada - (For immediate release) - May 3, 2012 Greenworld Wind
Power Co. Ltd. (Greenworld): Deutsche Börse symbol: GWDA
(www.greenworldpower.ca), is pleased to announce that it is working with
Crestford View Generation Corp., in which it has a 40% interest, to develop
a new small hydro project in Cebu Province.
Initial studies indicate the potential for a 1MW to 1.2MW to be developed
near the site of Tumalog Falls, in Oslob, Cebu Province. The Falls, also
known as 'Toslob Falls' or 'Mag-Ambak Falls' are a popular local attraction
due to their picturesque and unspoiled nature.
The project, which will not disturb the Falls themselves, would be fed by a
watershed area of some 26 square kilometers, and a head (the height of the
drop in elevation over which the water will fall) of 100 meters.
The Company is currently preparing a submission to the Department of Energy
to obtain a service contract that will allow the project to continue
forward.
