Peachtree Special Risk Brokers, LLC Names Erik Halvorsen as Senior Vice President

(NYSE: BRO), together with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Peachtree Special Risk Brokers, LLC (collectively, the "Company"), today announced that Erik Halvorsen has been named Senior Vice President for Peachtree Special Risk Brokers and will also serve as the Healthcare Practice Group Leader for the Brown & Brown Wholesale Brokerage Division.
Anthony Strianese, Regional President of Brown & Brown, Inc., stated, "Erik's strong market relationships and industry experience will continue to be an asset to our Wholesale Casualty Operations. Mr. Halvorsen's focus will be the expansion of the Wholesale Casualty Brokerage footprint in Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Mr. Halvorsen earned his BS in Finance from Drexel University. He brings to Peachtree more than 20 years of industry experience as an underwriter and as a wholesale broker.
