ASC Signal's Ka-band Antennas to Support Teleport Expansion for European Satellite Operator
European Sale Continues ASC's International Deployment of Large Ka-band Terminals
(firmenpresse) - PLANO, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 05/07/12 -- ASC Signal has been selected to provide a significant number of Ka-band antennas to one of Europe's major satellite operators to ensure uptime in distributing Pay-TV channels to Europe's extensive base of satellite television users. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
ASC Signal will deliver multiple Ka-band gateway antennas that provide highly advanced pointing accuracy and reliability, a key technology that ASC provides to this major market and to Ka-band users globally. The antennas feature a uniquely designed sub-reflector tracking (SRT) technology which provides a higher level of tracking accuracy and gain stability not typically achievable by most antennas in this category. This latest installation, like hundreds of other Ka-band gateways used by ASC Signal's customers throughout Europe and around the globe, extends ASC's relationships with the major commercial satellite operators worldwide.
