Phone Guardian v.3.0 for S60 v3 released: more security and more thief tracking
Symbian Guru released the new version 3.0 of Phone Guardian – the security software which helps to protect the phone from theft and unauthorized access.
Phone Guardian Splash(firmenpresse) - New version of Phone Guardian has got some new features. Now the GPS tracking option is available, new SMS commands were added, and new method of software launch was introduced. Now you can launch the software by dialing the secret number, and install application without icon.
Phone Guardian locks the phone automatically, after SIM change and on receiving of the lock SMS. Phone unlock is possible only knowing the right application password.
Phone Guardian allows phone and thief tracking. All information about the phone position is sent via Info SMS with useful information. The Info-SMS contains always the current SIM card and phone number, as well as Cell ID and GPS coordinates which allows territorial tracking of the mobile. For battery saving the network based GPS is available.
Phone Guardian 3.0 has following new features:
-Now you can trace your mobile phone not only with the help of Cell ID numbers but also with the help of GPS, including network based GPS
-New SMS commands introduced for better handling
-You can buy the software directly from your mobile phone
-Now you can launch the application not only with the help of program icon but also without it using the secret combination, which you have previously set.
-Now alarm SMS can be sent to 3 numbers. 2 alarm SMS numbers and the number you are sending the lock SMS from
