Christopher Goodridge Named President of Torstar Digital

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/09/12 -- Torstar (TSX: TS.B) today announced that Christopher Goodridge has been appointed as President of Torstar Digital effective immediately.

Mr. Goodridge has been with Torstar Corporation since 2004. During that time he has held a number of positions with both Torstar Corporation and Torstar Digital. His most recent role, prior to being appointed Acting President of Torstar Digital in April 2012, was as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Torstar Digital where he was responsible for leading the Finance function, partnering with the business leaders on digital strategy & operations as well as leading the M&A and partnership activities for Torstar Digital. Prior to assuming the Finance role at Torstar Digital, Chris was the Director of Corporate Development for Torstar. Mr. Goodridge holds an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto and a Law Degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.
