Crestline Opens New Facility
(firmenpresse) - SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN -- (Marketwire) -- 05/09/12 -- Crestline, commercial bus dealer and ambulance manufacturer based in Saskatoon, announced the official grand opening of its new facility, at 126 Wheeler Street in Saskatoon on Friday May 11, 2012.
The new facility combines Crestline's four existing facilities in Saskatoon's Hudson Bay industrial area, into a new 80,400 square foot facility located on an 8.5 acre site. The development will enable Crestline to improve access to departments, double its production capacity, create operational efficiencies and reduce overall costs and lead times.
Daryl Bitz, President and CEO said, "We are very proud of our new facility, it's built to meet our unique business needs. Even though we have only been here for a short time, we are already seeing employees (who had been in separate facilities) become reacquainted with one another and collaborate on projects that would not have been possible working out of four separate buildings."
Crestline's new building includes a production and paint area, two-story office structure with multiple meeting spaces, customer reception, medical supply showroom, vehicle showroom and delivery area and a large space for chassis and vehicle storage.
"It is exciting to drive to work every day to a new, large, attractive building," said John MacDonald, a 25-year employee. "Everything from the lights in the parking lot to the personal card-activated entry system is designed with safety, comfort, convenience and efficiency in mind."
