Tangibal Group plc, the Frankfurt quoted interactive and experiential media
company, and a 13% holding of Venatus Interactive plc; with its partner
Pearl and Dean, win SAWA award for 'Best use of Technology in Cinema' and
presents new CineSynch Technology
London, May 9, 2012. The major Cinema industry body - The Screen Advertising
World Association (SAWA - www.sawa.com) held its biennial convention in Las
Vegas between April 19th and 21st 2012 where Tangibals' UK media sales
partner Pearl and Dean won the award for 'The Best use of Technology in
Cinema'. Pearl and Dean won the award as a direct result of the
extraordinary and revolutionary work in the Media entertainment and
advertising industry Tangibal has delivered. They launched the UKs first
interactive floor network - developed by Tangibal - the world's first 3D
interactive game on a cinema screen - also developed by Tangibal - and
installed the UKs first interactive screens in a Cinema foyer - again
developed by Tangibal.
Dominic Berger said: 'We are extremely proud to have assisted Pearl and Dean

award is a culmination of both Pearl and Deans visionary approach to Cinema
media and our technology and creative know how to deliver interactive
experiences.'
THE SAWA AWARDS FOR THE INDUSTRY
In its 58 years as a Global Trade Body, SAWA has had many achievements. At
the last two conventions in Cannes and Sydney, companies and individuals
were recognized for their outstanding achievements, and in 2012, SAWA
presented awards in three categories:
- The Best Use of Technology in a Cinema Advertising Company in 2012
- Cinema Advertising Company - Innovator of the Year 2012
- Cinema Advertising Person of the Year 2012
The CEO of Tangibal Group plc, Dominic Berger, was also a keynote speaker
presenting the latest interactive media technology developments in Cinema.
Tangibal also launched its ground breaking new audio technology CineSynch at
the convention. CineSynch technology is developed in an alliance with
Intrasonics, a Cambridge, UK, based technology company, where the audio in
an onscreen advert can trigger advertising events on the Cinema audience's
mobile phones. CineSynch has ignited great interest amongst Cinema
advertising companies globally and Tangibal will be making announcements in
the near future about the use of the technology and the marketing.
