Ressources Appalaches Hires its' Mine Manager for Dufferin Mine

(firmenpresse) - RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 05/15/12 -- Ressources Appalaches (TSX VENTURE: APP) is pleased to announce the addition, to its Dufferin mine project, of Mr. Douglas Keating as Mine Manager in Nova Scotia.
Mr. Keating and his team are already diligently at work on site with preparatory works related to de-watering of the underground galleries, as well as the refurbishment of milling equipment and the implementation of safety procedures and protocols.

Douglas Keating - Mine Manager
Native of Nova Scotia, Mr. Keating is recognised as a leader, results oriented, with strong interpersonal skills renown for effectively communicating corporate objectives and targets all along while promoting conductive working environments.
With over 20 years of progressive mining experience in processing and operations, Mr. Keating worked at Golden Band Resources' Jolu gold mill in Saskatchewan, Anaconda Mining in Newfoundland, Acadian Mining in Nova Scotia and Miramar Con Mine as well as Royal Oak's Giant gold mine in the Northwest Territories. The positions occupied rang from operations manager to mill superintendent, process manager and chief assayer. The latter years Mr. Keating was responsible of operations which have gone through refurbishing and commissioning of gold mines.
In accordance with its compensation policy and stock option plan, on May 7, 2012, the board of directors of Ressources Appalaches granted 100,000 stock options to Mr. Keating with an exercise price of $0.10. The options are valid for a period of five years.
