BMO Harris Private Banking Amends Strategy for BMO Harris International Equity Portfolio

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/18/12 -- BMO Harris Investment Management Inc. (BHIMI), the investment management arm of BMO Harris Private Banking, proposes to amend the investment strategies of BMO Harris International Equity Portfolio (Portfolio) to permit the Portfolio to invest in other investment funds.

The investment strategies of the Portfolio will be revised to permit the Portfolio to invest up to 20 per cent of its assets in securities of other investment funds, which may include funds that are managed by BHIMI or one of its affiliates or associates, including up to 10 per cent of its assets in BMO China A-Share Fund, a pooled fund managed by an affiliate of BHIMI and sold pursuant to exemptions from the investment fund prospectus requirement.
