OPEN MIND at CIMES 2012 in Peking/China

OPEN MIND will be exhibiting at the machine tool manufacturing trade show together with its business partner Agie Charmilles (Hall W1, Stand B201) 12-16 June 2012. The presentation will focus on the possibilities that hyperMILL® offers for accelerating NC programming and making machining more efficient.
Rapid stock removal without excess tool wear crucially depends on the available machining strategies and the toolpaths that are generated. OPEN MIND meets this challenge - one that Chinese manufacturers are also facing - with its powerful CAM solution, hyperMILL®. This software offers numerous automated programming options, ranging from sophisticated feature and macro technology to intelligent macros and functions such as transformation and mirroring. Innovative technologies and machining strategies avoid redundant tool movements, reduce machine running times, and improve processes. Machining strategies include 2D, 3D, HSC, 5axis milling, and mill/turn strategies.
Machine-specific NC programs
OPEN MIND is furthermore presenting its proprietary postprocessors at the twelfth CIMES, a major international trade fair with over 60,000 visitors from 64 countries.
