Eagle Star Appoints New Director to the Board, Dr. Jose Eloi Guimaraes Campos

(TSX VENTURE: EGE)(PINK SHEETS: ELGSF)(FRANKFURT: E6R) ("Eagle Star" or "the Company") is pleased to announce, and welcome the newest addition to the board of directors, Dr. Jose Eloi Guimaraes Campos.
Dr. Guimaraes Campos is an expert in the field of Estratigraphy, Sedimentation and Tectonic Evolution with over 22 years of experience. He obtained his Masters Degree in Geology in 1992, and continued on to complete his Doctorate Degree in 1996, both from the University of Brasilia, FD, Brazil. Dr. Guimaraes Campos brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Eagle Star including his vast knowledge and expertise with regards to sedimentary, metamorphic and alkaline igneous rock occurrences and more specifically sedimentary phosphate deposits and their geological structure within Brazil.
Dr. Guimaraes Campos has consulted to a multitude of agro-mineral projects throughout different regions of Brazil. He was co-advisor to the technical study of the Campos Belos / Itafos Arraias phosphate deposit in Goias-Tocantins state now owned and operated by MBAC Fertilizer Corp. which included the in-depth observation of the geological modeling of the deposit. In addition Dr. Guimaraes Campos took part in the technical study and discussion of the genesis and controls of the Rocinha phosphate deposit in the Lagamar region of Minas Gerais. Most recently Dr. Guimaraes Campos worked the re-evaluation of the Corrego Rico limestone deposit to cement production, which included regional geology framing, drilling log analysis, and reserves definition. In addition Dr. Guimaraes Campos has also offered his services to the Brazilian Geological Survey (CPRM) aiding with geological mapping and mineral deposit characterization.
Dr. Jose Eloi Guimaraes Campos currently serves as the Sedimentology, Hydrogeology and Soil Sciences Professor at the University of Brasilia and is a member of the Brazilian Society of Geology (SBG), Regional Advice of Geology (CREA) and the Association of Professors of the University of Brasilia (ADUnB).
