Quaterra Announces Conference Call to Discuss Preliminary Economic Assessment on MacArthur Project

(TSX VENTURE: QTA)(NYSE MKT: QMM)(NYSE Amex: QMM) will host a conference call on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 1:30 pm Pacific Time (4:30 pm Eastern Time) to discuss yesterday's release of the preliminary economic assessment of the Company's MacArthur copper project in the Yerington District, Nevada.

The Company will also answer questions at the end of the formal portion of the call.
