(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 05/29/12 -- Giluet Fund II, Inc., a part of a private philanthropic group, will be advancing funds to various manufacturing, software application, and other American companies. The goal is to provide further economic relief, beyond that which companies may already have available to them, in the current economic climate.
"The main criteria for investment of funds by Giluet are job creation, establishment of a location within the continental United States, a viable product, and the ability for a company to sustain its existence over the long term. Such would include companies that are involved with creation of software for computer technology, manufacturing and fabrication of products, any type of warehouse distribution, or any business which creates economic activity that is beneficial for the community within which the facility would be located," according to Wayne Burmaster of Giluet. The geographic location of a company must be one in which the economic climate is stable and has the potential for improvement.
Giluet anticipates that there will be a number of companies, be they small or midsized, which would have interest in applying. The process is relatively simple, compared to other similar scenarios. Upon presentation of sufficient information to Giluet by the candidate, Giluet would then provide a proposal if the company were of interest. Subsequent to execution of a memorandum of Understanding, such would be followed by a contract, an appropriate amount of diligence, and subsequent funding. Funds would be provided on the basis of an equity investment, as opposed to a loan which would need to be repaid and which would have terms that might not be as favorable to the company. At the same time, the investment would be a passive one with no interest on the part of Giluet to interfere with or have any control of operation of the company.
