WESTCHESTER, Ill., June 4, 2012 - Beginning today, Ingredion Incorporated (NYSE:
INGR), a leading global provider of ingredient solutions to diversified
industries, is the official name of the multi-national company formally known as
Corn Products International, Inc.
"Today marks a key milestone in our evolution. Our new name, Ingredion, better
reflects our global presence and focus on ingredient solutions. Going forward,
we will continue to build on our strong legacies of partnering with our
customers, employees, vendors and communities, which we believe is the
foundation of shareholder value," said Ilene Gordon, Chairman, President and
Chief Executive Officer.
The company plans a phased roll out of the new name, starting in the United
States.
