MEDIA ADVISORY: Celebrate the Launch of Surrey's First Mixed-Use Hotel and Residential Project
(firmenpresse) - SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/05/12 -- On Thursday, June 7, 2012, Century Group will hold a news conference to mark the official launch of Surrey's first mixed-use hotel and residential project.
This will be the first opportunity for media to view an architectural model and visuals of the project, along with new project details. The project has received support from the City of Surrey and the Surrey City Development Corporation.
The project furthers Surrey's vision for the creation of a vibrant transit-oriented hub of commercial, municipal and residential activity. It will define the skyline south of the Fraser and set the tone for current and future growth in Surrey City Centre.
The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. with City of Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts, Sean Hodgins (Century Group) and Jim Cox (Surrey City Development Corporation) speaking. Breakaway interviews will be conducted following the presentations.
In addition to these speakers, a variety of spokespeople from relevant local businesses and community organizations will also be available at the event to speak with media about the development of Surrey City Centre:
