Rapala Balsa Xtreme Minnow has been honored with the Best New Hard Lure Award
and Blue Fox Vibrax Super Bou named the Best New Metal Lure at the 2012 European
Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition (EFTTEX), Europe's largest and most important
international fishing tackle trade show, held in Paris on June 1-3.
Rapala BX Minnow Shows the Future of Hard Baits
Combining the unmatched responsiveness of balsa with rugged durability of
plastic, the new Rapala Balsa Xtreme Minnow opens a new era in fishing lures.
The BX Minnow is manufactured with Rapala's new, patent pending construction
that uses a tough, transparent plastic shell to encapsulate a balsa wood inner
body. The perfectly balanced balsa core with precision placed weights gives the
lure a lively, super responsive action that can be achieved only with balsa.
The tough copolymer outer shell allows ultimate toughness and life-like finishes
with 3D scales, lateral line and gill plates with a combination of metallic,
translucent and painted finishes unlike anything seen on balsa lures before.
Truly a perfect combination of finesse action, advanced finishes and rugged
durability, the Rapala BX Minnow blazes the trail to the future of lures.
Blue Fox Vibrax Super Bou Flashes Like a Beacon
The Blue Fox Vibrax Super Bou spinner is designed for heavy-duty predator
fishing. Its double blades create a ton of flash, noise and turbulence that
makes the full skirt of marabou, hackle feathers and flash fibers come alive.
The pulsating, life-like action of the natural feathers mimics the natural prey
in motion while the thin, high-vibrating double blades create flash and noise -
and act as a beacon, luring the predator to the bait even in low light and murky
waters.
The durable Vibrax Super Bou is built with a stainless steel through wire
construction and heavy duty hooks. It also features the signature Vibrax bell
with a free-turning brass gear that reduces line twist, emits sonic vibration
and rattles when rubbing against the bell.
