Pfizer Animal Health Extends Support for the AKC Canine Health Foundation

(firmenpresse) - RALEIGH, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/12/12 -- The AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF) announces today that Pfizer Animal Health extends its support of the Foundation with a donation of $250,000. This donation marks the third year of partnership between Pfizer Animal Health and CHF and represents Pfizer Animal Health's commitment to the -- helping dogs and their owners live longer, healthier lives.

In addition to their annual donation, Pfizer Animal Health also provides scientific leadership to the AKC Canine Health Foundation. In March of 2012, , Associate Director of Global Alliances with Pfizer Animal Health, was elected to the Foundation's Board of Directors. Dr. Settles earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Auburn University in 1990. She also attended the University of San Francisco School of Law, graduating with her JD and a certificate in Intellectual Property and Internet Technology Law in 2002.
